Make Residual Income from Your Articles on Bukisa

bukisa

If you have been selling your writing or articles online, then you should look into Bukisa as a possible source of residual income.  When you compare Bukisa to Squidoo, HubPages, and eHow, itâ??s still relatively small.  But, the best part about Bukisa is thier referral plan and for those writers with a large network of writer friends – you can make a nice residual income from Bukisa.

Bukisa does not pay you for each article like Constant Content or eHow. For every thousand unique hits, Bukisa will pay you on what they call the “Bukisa Index” – which is a rate that can fluctuate, but typically it runs between $3.00 and $4.00.  The better Bukisa does financially, the higher the Bukisa Index will be.

Bukisa’s nice referral program has gotten a lot of writers to tell thier friends and family to join Bukisa, and expanded their user base.  Bukisa offers a percentage of the revenue from the people you refer AND the next three levels of people that they refer!  That is three levels of payments you can earn from Bukisa!

For example, lets  say you have four people: Mike, Tom, Doug, and Kenny.  Mike starts writing on Bukisa.  She decided to refer her good friend Tom.  Tom joins, and refers his good friend Doug.  Doug joins and refers his good friend Kenny.   You would get 25% of Tom makes, 6.25% of what Doug makes and 1.5625% of what Kenny makes!  This percentage of the payment is taken from Bukisa’s share of the payment – not from your writer friend’s share.

This can be a great way to build a ton of residual income through referrals.  Bukisa is still in the Beta stage and if you start now, you might be in a great position in a year or two.

I think that all of these article websites such as eHow, Squidoo, HubPages and Bukisa are really competing to get the most articles and the most traffic – and with Bukisa’s referral system, they have really set the bar high.  If a writer starts to make some decent monthly income on Bukisa, then why would they waste thier time on the other websites?  This will be interesting to see who comes out on top.
