Get a Part Time Job with Sunflower Staffing

Sunflower Staffing

If your are looking for a part time job that allows you to work only when you want to work, then you should consider Sunflower Staffing as a source of supplemental income.  Sunflower Staffing, formerly Demo’s Express is one of the main companies that provides staff for events, promotions and taste testing.  I am sure you have seen the demonstrators at places like Target, Cosco, Sam’s Club and major grocery stores handing out various samples of products.

You can apply online and fill out your complete profile and Sunflower Staffing will contact you when there is a job available.  There are jobs in many towns across the nation and almost all of the big cities. You have the option to accept or decline the job, these aren’t the most glamorous jobs – but if you are like me and you don’t want to be locked down to a 40 hour work week, then this is a perfect side job and source of supplemental income.

These demo jobs typically pay between $60 and $105 for a 5 hour shift.  You will be paid as a 1099 Independent Contractor and no taxes will be taken out of your pay, which makes you responsible for your own taxes when April rolls around.  I realize this is not the highest paying job, but how many jobs will allow you to work only when you want to?  Personally, I could make $10,000 on a commerical one day and I would have no problem working 5 hours for $60 for Sunflower Staffing the very next day.  If you want to create multiple sources of income, then you have to be willing to take as many money making opportunities as you can get.

Overall, if you are professional and like working in public with people then you should consider applying for work with Sunflower Staffing.  So if you see me in Target handing out Mango Salsa and Tortilla chip samples, don’t give me a hard time – just smile and enjoy your free sample!  Sunflower Staffing would be classified as more of a part time job than a source of residual income.

I was called out of the blue to do a job for them. I did and I still have not been paid. This was over two months ago. I have emailed the contact that asked me to do the job. She said that it was because I did not give them a W-9, which was never explained to me. I sent in the W-9 and still haven’t been paid. They have never asked me to do another job so I am wondering if this is a scam?

I worked for them a few times and I always got paid. I will admit, they seemed a little unorganized – but my checks always came in the mail.

This company is the worst I have ever seen. They are disorganized, do not care about their people, and give you jobs then take them away without letting you know. Do not understand why Target uses them at all. And, they do not care about their demonstrators at all. They can keep their jobs. Wish Target would wake up and see them for what they are and get in another company. I know here in the midwest they get little respect.

I agree. Target gave up the best company out there – Mass Connections – to save money I guess. We all miss them terribly. They were professional ALWAYS, very well orgnized, and one could get assistance if necessary. Sunflower is is disorganized, not professional and if you have a problem at the store they do not help at all.

The Account Mgr., Crystal Whitis at Sunflower Staffing contacted me to work as a back up for two of their events but haven’t heard from her since. I have been trying to call her but haven’t heard from her since then. Been working with different agencies for almost 3years now and I can say that they are the worst agency that I have worked so far. I will never work for them again.
