This company is a scam! I sent them a 25 gift card over a month ago. i still have not received my promised payment and their customer service is a joke. I rarely can get through on their phone number, which brings me to a rude person over seas with a heavy accent that I can barely understand. I keep getting a runaround. It appears that they have been stealing from thousands of other people as well. Their facebook page is loaded with complaints from customers with similar stories. BEWARE!

They are VEEERRRYYYY SSSSLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW to mail. I have purchased more than a few cards and they take so long to get here. GCR does not have proper procedures to see that you receive your cards either as they have constant post office problems (they blame the PO) instead of fixing the unreliable method they use to mail. Any internet seller can use 1st class mail with scan sheets or to see that your packages are not left sitting at the post office as they claim for weeks at a time. Totally unacceptable!
Go to ABC gift cards, Plastic Jungle or Card Cash and have a GREAT experience.
Save yourself the headache and being out $ and don’t even bother with Gift Card Rescue ever. You will thank me!

1. plastic jungle does not have a customer service, nobody pick up the phone or call you back.

2. they suppose to deposit the money at my paypal account instantly, but it is after 24 hrs, they still have not post the money.

3. they even do not send a confirmation email to you that they have your card.

i actually purchase bulk gift cards on craigslist and resell them. I sent in 808 dollars worth of gift cards to plasticjungle.

They operate a smooth service which includes a prepaid envelope and and updated online status of your order.

Flaws: Their customer service is terrible, they never pick up. Their mailback system with the prepaid envelope takes 3 days to receive since it is regular postal. They need an option to have it sent faster.

Another problem is they take 2-3 days to actually print the check and then takes 3-4 more days to receive it.

I sent my gift cards on the 24th of may, and got my check exactly on june 7th. ( way too long!)

im trying out a small batch for CARDPOOL.COM right now, but i just realized they do not have a customer service number. I hate these gift card sites! its better to sell them one by one on ebay and lose a few bucks…but at least you get your money usually instantly

Hi Ben – no I honestly have not tried Gift Card Rescue. Can you tell us about some of the benefits of using GFR over other gift card websites? My apologies – I did not mean to reflect negatively on Gift Card Rescue, I just assumed that the most important factor people would consider when selling gift cards would be price.

Good post on selling your gift cards for cash. You really can’t beat the service that these two sites provide.

My question is did you actually go through your experience selling your cards to Plastic Jungle or Gift Card Rescue?

I don’t think that it is fair to your readers to strongly suggest one company or the other without actually trying the service offered.
