I have got just under 2000 and I do pretty well in Yahoo and Google. What do you think the average amount of inbound links to a site is?

Thanks Kai - I am working on it! I have "make money online" in many of my blog topic titles and I just added a tagline under my logo. Slowly but surely - I'll get there!

Best,

MJ

Just because that person has over 20,000 backlinks does not mean most of them are high quality. If you look closely to his links, a lot of the ones in 20+ pages are all PR 0.

You need to work on your on-site SEO. Your title, headers, etc. needs work for the keyword Make Money Online. The #1 person has title Make Money Online and it is 100% relevant to that keyword.
