The thing is: I don't have a method. Well, not really. Sometimes, I hop on Google Trends (hasn't really worked for me though). I've tried the Google Keyword Tool, but can't get my head into it.

So, now I just tend to go with what I like or what I'm interested in or something my gut thinks might be popular --- or I just build backlinks to my blogs.

I think that that one blurb was luck/good timing. At the time I posted it, I thought people might be interested in it in the future and didn't think about it again once I posted it - not 'til I got a £2+ Adsense day (not much but it's the most I've ever made on Adsense in one day).

That's really good for 50-100 words. I am guessing that researching which topics that you blurb about is important. How do you choose topics that make the most money? (Sorry for all the questions!)

No, I don't mind sharing. I've made about £13 ($19) over the past 2 months or so with the one blurb to date. I guess what people would consider good earnings differs from person to person, but I don't think that's bad-going for 50-100 words.

Do you mind if I ask what would be considered good earnings for one "blurb"? If you'd rather not say -- I understand. Thank you for your input on Xomba!

I've had some success with Xomba, not pinnacle reaching, but enough for me to be a convert. I find that blurbs can make you just as much money as bytes. There's one blurb of mine in particular that's been real good to me this year. It's also great for building backlinks. Most of the blurbs/bytes I've put up have been on Google in less than an hour. Plus Xomba has a great community too.
