Make Money Online Selling Your Arts and Crafts With Etsy
For those of you that are creative, artistic or good at making quality homemade items – you might want to check out etsy.com. Etsy is sort of like an ebay for homemade items – quilts, crafts, candles, bags, purses, jewelry, ceramics, pottery, clothing and much more. If you are someone who spends a lot of time creating these type of items, yet you have never really had an outlet to sell your creations - Etsy might be perfect for you.
Obviously, the people who can churn out their items at a higher rate are bound to make more money on Etsy. If you spend 4 months making a quilt, odds are that you are not going to want to sell it for $35 on Etsy. But if you can make a quality quilt in a day or two, then you might be the perfect seller for Etsy.
I personally havenâ??t used Etsyâ??s website because of my lacking creative skills! I wouldnâ??t classify this website as a form of residual income or royalty income, but this could be an excellent way to make money online.
You can visit Etsyâ??s website here: Etsy

I have personally been selling on etsy for over two years now, and would like to add a few things to your review.
For starters, having an etsy shop, is like having your own store. It’s not as simple as listing an item, and someone will come buy it.
Etsy’s default for items when you search for something is by what’s been listed most recently, not what’s ending soonest (like on ebay) which means, you either need to be constantly listing new items, or driving traffic to your shop using alternative methods of social networking, blogging, purchasing ad space, word of mouth, etc.
Another thing that is very important on etsy is having quality photographs of your items. Etsy has quite a group of artists who sell there, who are also great photographers, so the competition is also in presentation. Which item are you most likely to click on? Probably the one that has been photographed well.
There are also some categories on etsy that are more saturated than others. If you want to truly stand out from the crowd, you really have to have a quality product, and work on reaching your target market.
Etsy can be a great venue for artists and crafters wanting to sell their goods from home, but it’s really a whole business that you learn to run, when you set up a shop.
Everything from creating your own inventory, to photographing to listing your items, to customer service, to shipping and ordering/receiving of your supplies to make more new items. Keeping track of sales and costs to run your shop. Keeping track of etsy fees, paypal fees, shipping costs, etc.
There really is a lot to learn, but if you have the will and the desire to succeed, you can do whatever you put your mind to.
Michael, I’m bookmarking your Web site and going to follow you on Twitter because I like your residual income concepts. I must comment; however, when you write that I “wouldn’t classify this website [ETSY] as a form of residual income or royalty income.” It may interst you to know that there is a way to earn make money on OTHER
PEOPLE’s ETSY listings. I’m one who earns Residual Income from ETSY and you can too.

Hi Michael, again this is a good stuff on making money with Etsy. I know many people will love doing some arts and crafts just for just a hobby but if they could turn it into making business or like this site that you can earn from it then, that would be nice.

Hi Michael!!
Recognize me? I am the one who posted a comment about PTC sites. Well I am in no mood of commenting any more on PTC sites but I have something else to say.
First of all I will appreciate your blog. Really it tells people about some “unique” online money making ways. Many money making ways which were revealed to me were through this blog. Especially “submit photos and make money” kind of opportunity. Furthermore you really keep coming with new websites frequently. That’s really cool about this blog.
Secondly, I would like to share a unique way to earn online. That’s by preventing crime through CCTV camera. I just published a post about it on my blog. I wish you visit it.

I would appreciate if you leave your comment about this opportunity on my blog.
Thanks.
Thanks Julius – I will check out the affiliate program.
