Sell Your Articles Online with Constant Content

make money online - cc2I started writing articles and submitting them on a website called Constant Content over a year ago. So far this website has been an excellent source of residual income. My first two months were pretty promising, as I earned $100 each month from various article sales. Then my third month I only made $60 – but admittedly, I had written less articles.  If I was to submit to Constant Content on a consistent basis, there is no limit to how much I could earn in one month.

There are some authors making a decent income on this website, many of these top selling authors write for ??private requests? through buyers who specifically choose them for a writing project. One of the top writers on Constant Content is Celeste Stewart who has even written an e-book that details how to make the most money on Constant Content. You can view her e-book here: Celeste Stewart.   To be honest, it was Celeste’s ebook that taught me exactly how to write for Constant Content and how to optimize my earning potential.  Without her ebook – I would have wasted a lot of time focusing on the wrong type of articles.  If you are serious about making money on Constant Content – I highly reccomend it.
On Constant Content you can write about almost any topic, but I have found that the articles that sell the best are home improvement, real estate, health and fitness, computer related articles and articles with SEO or keyword rich paragraphs. Typically articles that are between 300 – 800 words will sell the most often. Also, buyers will post public requests for certain topics and you can create an article specifically for these requests. I have answered about five public requests and three of the articles that I wrote sold directly to the requestor.  One article I wrote entitled How to Find the Best Double Stroller sold for $35 for a 400 word article.  Once you begin to sell a lot of articles, you may begin to receive these private requests from clients who want to specifically request an article from you.  This is great because you are almost guaranteed to make a profit from these clients.

The best part about Constant Content is the fact that the amount of residual income that you create is only bound by the amount of articles you can submit. The more you write ?? the faster you will get at producing high quality articles that are suitable for sale.  Articles can sell for “full rights” or “usage” – which means that they can be sold over and over again.  Full rights sales can only be made once, but usually writers charge a significantly higher amount for full rights since they know they will only be getting a one time payment.  Overall, Constant Content is a great way for freelance writers to make money online and choose the topics that you want to write about.

Hey, I’m famous! Thanks for the kind words and the link! – CS

Hey, it is the least I can do! You really helped me when I started our at CC. I have averaged over $100 per month on CC ever since I read your ebook. Although, I have been so busy with my blog that I have been neglecting my CC articles. This is causing my sales to dip. For those of you that don’t know – the more you write, the more you sell. (BUT I did have a $29 usage sale yesterday!)

Hopefully this R&R blog will grow by leaps and bounds and I will generate some more traffic for your e-book. (I want a 10% cut of all your sales – haha, just kidding!)

    Take care,

Good news on the writing front – I just got my first “private client” on Constant Content. She wants five 400 word articles per week on an on-going basis. I quoted her $27 per article and she agreed. After CC’s take (35%) I will make an additional $351 in monthly income, not bad! For those of you who are new to Constant Content, just write some quality articles and be patient – eventually you will get a private client. It took me abot 7 months to get this one!

    Hi Mike,
my account was suspended on Constant Content because I had 3 rejected articles. Its a real bummer because they don’t specifically tell you what they want changed.

It seems like a lot of work for so little return. They have the highest writing standards, I’ve ever encountered in 15 years of writing. I’m spending more time on DS now, because I earn the entire $15 with about 1 hour work- Tops and that includes any rewrite they may request. The same income cost me 2 days on CC and then it still might not sell.

I wish there was a website like CC that allowed the client to decide whether the article was good enough for them or not or editors who genuinely want you to succeed. Do you know of anything like this?

Hi – I don’t know of any website like that. I too, have had at least 3 articles rejected by CC – but that was many months ago. Maybe they have become more strict. Demand Studios was great, but they never have the topics I am looking for. Good luck and let me know if you ever stumble upon a website like that!

I just joined CC a couple weeks ago and have already made $90 in the first 6 days of March. I am in love with the site. Well, here’s hoping it continues.

Hi George – yes CC is awesome, I need to start submitting more articles myself. How many articles have you written? In my opinion, CC is the best of all freelance writing websites online!

I have written 14 articles and 12 are live. I have received some emails stating I have sold 4 today but it doesn’t show in my balance yet. It is unbelievable how fast the articles sell there. It’s hard to keep up with the demand.

This is why some people are making a full time living on CC!

    Hi Michael,

What style of article do you typically write? Are they a “how-to” format like eHow, or just informative articles. Sounds like a great writing opportunity. Thanks!

Hi DJ! Clemson huh? I lived in Greenville, South Carolina back in the 1990′s! I personally like to write articles that include tips, ie. “5 Tips for Finding the Perfect Wedding Photographer” – but this is mostly because I like the layout of these type of articles. It is a good idea to browse through the “recently sold” articles to see what topics are consistently selling. Good luck, Tiger!
