Why I Created a Separate Blog Dedicated Solely to CashCrate

paid online surveys - cashcrateMy CashCrate earnings have made a surprising jump this past month and I went from making $72 in February of 2010 to almost $200 in March.  (I am on pace to make about $189 – You can see my CashCrate earnings on the banner atop this blog – it updates my current earnings automatically.)  I did a little research and found a guy who is consistently earning over $1,000 a month with CashCrate and in fact he has a check posted on his websites that show CashCrate earnings of $1,491 for one month.  The path that he took to make this total intrigued me so I set out to emulate his success.  He generates highly targeted traffic to his blog entitled Paid Online Surveys for Money and many of his visitors will sign up to CashCrate upon viewing his large earnings reports.  You can check out his website here: Paid Online Surveys for Money.  Here is an image of his $1,491 check?

Rather than target keywords that include the term ??CashCrate? this guy has targeted the keywords ??paid online surveys? and ??online surveys for money? ?? both  of which he wisely combined in his domain name.  I have also reserved this domain ?? but mine ends in dot net.  The idea here is that people who search for keywords that include the term CashCrate more than likely already know about the program and have probably already joined.  On the other hand ?? people who search terms like ??paid online surveys? are definitly in search of a survey program to join and should they wind up on your blog or website, your chances of them signing up through your referral link are much greater.

Although I just started this CashCrate blog, I am setting a goal to be atop the search engines for both ??paid online surveys? and ??online surveys for money? within one year.  I don??t mind investing some of my current CashCrate earnings into a little SEO and I am even open to hiring LinkWheeler again to create a link wheel for these terms for me.  The term ??paid online surveys? currently gets about 90,500 visitors per month and being on page 1 of Google for this term should get me the necessary earnings needed to cross the $1,000/month mark for my CashCrate paychecks.

I know, I know ?? not everyone is fond of CashCrate and similar programs.  But I will say that unlike ProjectPayday and these other survey websites; CashCrate is very user friendly and seems to have many happy members.  There is no cost to join and they pay on time, every month just like clockwork.  Some folks get upset when they join CashCrate and get their email inbox flooded with spam email.  This is why I tell all of my referrals to create a separate email address that is solely for use on CashCrate ?? this way you won??t care how much spam you get.  After all, you are getting paid to give advertisers your email info so you have to expect to get spam in return.

I used a nice free Woo theme to create my new CashCrate blog and you can check it out here: Paid Online Surveys for Money   (This looks much better than some of the other websites I have created!  It is still a work in progress though.)

If you have made good money with CashCrate or you have any advice for optimizing your CashCrate earnings, please let us know about it.  If you have tips for getting more referrals or you have a CashCrate blog that you have created ?? feel free to post a link in the comments section below.

    Michael,

It’s always fun to watch your earnings jump like that. Are you actively using CashCrate then? I’ll have to visit the site to see what it’s all about.

That’s a great example of someone earning money online. ~$1500/month for ranking really well in search engines. That’s awesome. Update us on how you’re doing with your site.

To be honest, I am not actively filling out surveys – I have my hand in so many pots that I simply don’t have time. I have filled them out in the past but now 100% of my earnings is from referrals. This goes for the guy who made $1,491 as well – ALL of his earnings were via referrals!

    Hi Michael,

I definitely do not like the labor intensive (mouse clicking and form filling) structure of completing surveys through cashcrate but I certainly like the referral program. It is amazing how many programs and services I use on a daily basis have a referral/affiliate program. Best of luck on your site…I will visit and give a look around.

Thanks DJ! Many people use RoboForm which can automatically fill out each survey for you within seconds – literally. But yes, I agree – the referral program is the bomb diggity! lol

I have noticed that your referrals have been booming over the past month. I actually was going to use your referral, but apparently I already have an account. Who knew?

That’s okay George – since you couldn’t sign up under my referral, you can just mail me a check for 15% of your CashCrate earnings each month! ;)
