Make Money Online as a User Tester on UserTesting.com

One of my readers turned me on to a website called User Testing and upon checking it out I was impressed with the basis behind this program. (Thank you Helot!) User Testing allows website owners to see exactly how new visitors navigate their website. Owners also get valuable feedback via video and audio recording as user testers verbally describe exactly what they think of the website. What better way to find out how to improve your website? This is a great system for website owners, but User Testing also offers individuals the ability to make money online. You can actually earn $10 for 15 minutes of your time by being a user tester.

You can sign up with User Testing and become a user tester and when the need comes up; they will send you assignments to review websites. The average user testing session takes about fifteen minutes and you can download User Testing’s screen recording software to allow you to record exactly what you are doing on your computer screen. This software records your mouse movements, clicks and keystrokes. You will need a headset to record your audio and you should be consistently narrating exactly what you are doing on each webpage. If you are having trouble navigating the website, you should verbalize exactly what the problem is. This is the type of feedback that website owners are looking for.

To sign up as a user tester for User Testing you have to complete some basic information and also record as sample screen recording. User Testing will supply you with a sample website and you should spend 15 minutes giving your feedback. I think that you should really take your time and record a great sample recording. This recording may be what determines whether or not you get a job or not.

I just signed up for User Testing yesterday and I completed my sample video and submitted it. I am not sure how long before I will be assigned a job with them, but I think it largely depends on your demographic. In other words, new clients of User Testing probably want a variety of opinions on their website. In this case, they may choose to have a wide selection of people from various ages, backgrounds and locations review their website. This will give them feedback from many different demographics. If there is a need for people with your particular stats you probably have a better chance of getting assignments from User Testing. I have high hopes that this website will be a good way to make money online. As soon as I get my first assignment from User Testing, I will come back to this post and let all of my readers know about it.
