The Most Complete List of Freelance Writing Websites on the Internet
Many of my readers make a large portion of their online income from freelance writing and I have written quite a few posts about various websites that pay you for your content. I have a few sources that have supplied me with the list of various freelance writing websites, but I realized that there was no place on the internet that had a full master list. I decided to set out to create the largest list of freelance writing websites and ??paid to blog? websites available online. I think I may have succeeded in my quest.
Three of the websites that I frequently visit to get ideas for posts are Freelance Home Writer, Freelance Writer Online and Freelance Writer Websites. These three sources are a wealth of information for anyone interested in pursuing freelance writing as a full time at home career. From these three sources I combined a list of all of the freelance writing and paid to blog websites along with a few of my own sources to create my list. I hope these three bloggers are not upset with me for using the information that they have provided to me. I am very thankful that these blogs exist to help new writers find legitimate sources of writing income.
You can see the full list on my resources page and if there are any websites that I have omitted or left out ?? please let me know about it. I would love to keep this list growing and as up to date as possible. If any of these websites stop accepting writers, change their status or are considered scams, feel free to comment below so that I can remove them from the list. On the other hand if you have had a positive experience with any of these websites you can leave a short review in the comments section. Obviously some of these websites are far superior to others and some of these pay much better than others. But, no matter what stage you are at in your writing career, you are bound to find a freelance writing website below that meets your skill level. It would be great if this post could serve as a forum for writers to leave valuable feedback on their experiences with each of these freelance writing websites as well as give samples of their earnings from each source. After all, most writers simply want to know which of these freelance writing and paid to blog websites are actually worth their time and effort.

Thanks for this!
This is an excellent compilation.I am so glad you are able to use Freelance Writer Online to find gigs and get ideas.
Thank you Suzanne – your blog is a great resource!
MJ
That’s a big list
“That’s what she said.” —Haha
Hi MJ, I’ve enjoyed lurking on this blog for a few weeks. Great info! I’ve bookmarked this list and will refer to it often, I’m sure.
Just a heads up: I noticed that 451Press has a non-working link under the “Write for Us” tab and hasn’t updated their home page in, like, 2 years; also Article Income has low PR (Page Rank) and hasn’t tweeted in 10 months. These are very bad signs, so steer clear.
Hi Manon! Thanks for the heads up – I will check out those two websites and delete them from my list. I am sure that many of these will come and go over time. Best of luck with everything you do!
MJ
I stumbled on your site while doing a search on Google. You have a rich list of writing sites, some of which I have never seen before.
Hi Derrick – thanks for checking out my site! Hope you can find some gems in that list of freelance writing websites!
MJ
MJ,
Can I just say, “WOW”. Where does someone start?
Coincidentally, last nights re-run of sex in the city was Carrie Bradshaws first job as a freelance writer for Vogue (and the mishaps that followed).
I just finished your article on CashCrate, dog hosting and Yuwie (which you changed your mind on)
Whats a boy to do? Im on brain overload now, but I must read more!
Great post again mate. I think youve hit the nail on the head there. It doesnt have to be hard yet mose people fail to realize the basics.
Today.com seems to have disappeared.
Today.com is/was a scam. Many so-called “paid bloggers” weren’t paid a dime. The site is now offline.
Just wanted to let you know that Mahalo is no longer hiring writers, and eHow no longer pays directly- all submissions must go through Demand Studios.
Add vworker.com to the list as it is a great site with plenty of work.
I just wanted to add some writing for pay sites: List My Five, WikiHow, and Writer Access.
Also add Skyword.
