I didn't know about that stipulation, thanks for the heads-up. However, considering the obscene numbers of copyright violations on the Android Market, my comment is likely the least of their worries.

Gosh, what's wrong with asking people to click on ads? That's like telling people to not change the channel during a commercial break.

"I believe that I read somewhere that the average selling point of apps on Andoid is lower than on the iPhone..."

Waaaayyyyy lower.

I believe that I read somewhere that the average selling point of apps on Andoid is lower than on the iPhone store so maybe you are suffering there. I also appreciate that you have had good luck with the iPhone app in that you were featured. Have you tried getting your app featured on blogs (I know there are Android blogs, guessing there are iPhone ones as well!).

Also I don't know about Admob's terms and conditions but Google Adsense (which Admob is expected to be merged with soon now that Admob is owned by Google) have terms which say you are not allowed not encourage people to click on adverts - in the Android market description you appear to do this! Just thought I woudl let you know in case you didn't already know!

Thanks for downloading the android version! But sadly, sales on Android have been MUCH fewer than the iPhone - only 9 sales total. I know the Android market is small compared to the iTunes Store, but that's horrible!

In response I've made a free Android version as well - ad supported. No kids version yet, though. There just isn't enough income to justify the conversion as of yet.

So far,the 9 sales on the Android Market earned $6.24 in residual income (Google gets 30%). The ads on the free version have earned $1.58 so far. So that's a 75% difference in earnings. However, the free version has been out for one day, while the paid version has been available for a week.

Hopefully we'll get enough people to download the free versions that it will make more money than paid ones!
