June 2010 – Earnings Report

My earnings for June plummeted, along with my ability to keep up regular posting on this blog.  I apologize to my readers, but unlike other full time bloggers who have the ability to spend all of thier time making money online – my time has become very limited.  My limo business has been exploding with work and there are some days that I start work at 4 am and finish by 11 pm.   This allows little time for me to focus on Residuals and Royalties – at one point, I even posted this blog for sale on Flippa this past month, since I knew that I could not continue the regular postings.  I will continue the monthly earnings reports and guest posts are welcome – if I do stumble on other quality ways to make money online, I will try and post about them.   The more I think about it, the more I believe that you really need to be making at least $5,000 a month to speak as an authority on making money online.  Below is my June, 2010 Earnings Report…

Yeah, my June earnings plummeted as well. I was down to $171 for the month. I did almost nothing online this month, so all of that was residual income, which is nice.

It will be interesting to see the earnings from Admob for your iPhone and Android apps compare with the earnings for paid apps. What is evident from reading your blog, however, is the large number of different earning sources which you have and how diversified it is – definitely gives me an idea of how I can diversify mine. Do you find having such a diverse range is beneficial? I can imagine in theory it should be – but are there any sources mentioned above which require payout levels which are so high it will take you many months, if not years, to reach them?

    Keep the blog
I know so many bloggers in this niche talk about post consistency
but I personally don’t mind if you don’t post consistency as long as you keep posting those awesome monthly sum ups.

    Also about that authority thing
at this point you have authority
and I base this on the fact that you’ve built up credibility.
you’ve posted much information and you have posted it in an open fashion, just like Pat. so when people read your post they don’t dismiss the information because you’ve built up a great track record of credibility.
when people listen to your advice/opinion with trust. that’s authority.

    cheers on all your endeavors!

I’m going to try some of those stockphoto gigs
mind if i email you if i run into anything?

I hear you on the busy-ness thing. It’s that time of year I guess, lol. It’s great that you and George are making so much passive income, very inspiring to a newbie like me! I think my passive income totaled about $12 last month, by comparison.

Keep up the good work, here’s hoping you see greater success in July! :)

I agree, keep at it and just post when you get the chance.

It is good to see a realistic breakdown of earnings.

By adding your site as an RSS feed I am notified when you post, so I don’t even need to bother checking in with you (now there is a free plug!).

Wow you get earnings from such a wide variety of places! I earn from Adsense, Amazon, Affiliate Window and Squidoo. That’s it.

My Adsense was down in June but Amazon and Affiliate Window earnings were up. I think affiliate marketing really is the way to go – Adsense is just too tricky and unstable.

First, congrats on your earnings. I, for one, pass by your blog almost everyday. So what if you can’t update it on the regular? I’ll still enjoy your posts whenever you happen to post them.

If you want to sell your blog, it’s obviously totally up to you…but I’m gonna be totally selfish here and say DON’T!

OK, seriously, you gotta do what’s right for you (and me!).

OK, OK, I’m serious now. If you ever make the decision to sell it, it’s cool, I respect that. But you and your blog will be missed if you do.

    Take care…

Keep your blog. You’ll regret it if you don’t (spoken from personal experience). Circumstances change. Post on occasion for the time being. Who knows what the future may hold.

Yeah, June was super busy but the overall earnings wasn’t all that great.

I’ve reassessed what I need to do and have been super active trying to get everything back on track.

The limo business sounds so awesome; there’s something in me that always wanted to drive a cab that was all hippied out haha.

    Keep up the great work!

I hear ya! With so many things going on, it’s hard to keep residual income flowing. I’d be interested in guest blogging if you’re still looking.

Would love for you to return to the blog again, you were doing well with your income. :)

First poster here, with all of the different sources of additional income is it a pain to file taxes at the end of the year?

I have to say, you carry more authority than you think you do. You have outstanding credibility. If you had sold it, I’m not so sure it would hold the same weight. With that said, I am sure all who read your posts frequently also understand that life sometimes limits us from being online 24/7.
We are a patient group and we’ll stand by your side and wait for that next great post.

Wow, this is interesting! I didn’t know there were so many ways to make money online. I’ve been involved with network marketing but never imagined there were so many ways to make money on the Internet. Thanks for sharing this, it’s definitely inspired me to branch out and look for new ways to increase my income!
