Online Verdict is a mock trial website that pays you to act as an online juror.  To sign up as an online juror you will need to fill out some basic information as well as some details about yourself.  Some of these questions are designed to help Online Verdict get a variety of opinions from many different demographics.  So donâ??t be insulted when they are asking for your race, yearly salary, political standings and other pertinent information.  Once you sign up for Online Verdict, you will be contacted if you are right for a case in your area.  

Real attorneys hire companies like Online Verdict to host these mock trials in order to get an idea of how a jury might react to a case.  You may be presented with both the defendants and plaintiffs sides of the story as well as information on the case at hand.  I am guessing that in most cases names and revealing information are changed in order to protect all of the parties in the lawsuit.  

Chances are that you wonâ??t be inundated with juror requests, when Online Verdict has a case in your area that you would be a good fit for â?? they will contact you via email.  These online mock trials usually take between 20 and 60 minutes to complete and you will be paid between $20 and $60 for your time, depending on how long the mock trial takes.  You must be over the age of 18 and a US Citizen to sign up with Online Verdict.
