I have worked for this company a few times and although the pay is great, they have one of the most difficult systems for payment for services that I have ever seen. They hold pay, delay pay and after not getting paid nearly 500 for a 3 day job, I refuse to take jobs from this organization. I believe they are corrupt and part of their profit strategy is to hire people and not pay. When this is done repeatedly and across the nation, it results in quite a substantial windfall.

Stay away regardless of how lucrative the pay seems. I saw negative reports on them before I got burned. Standing in Sams Club for 3 days, filling out endless reports, calling into their ridiculous IVR system and not getting paid, is just about one of the most awful experiences an individual can encounter.

I have done many demos for this company and have never had a problem with the company or the pay. I have heard the complaints also but i have also been on conference orientations where they have to explain over and over what you need to do to get paid. Is it so hard to complete your required paperwork and make and keep copies for yourself just in case? This is why people are not paid. YOu have to fulfill your contract that you are signing. This company tells me up front what I need to complete the job and the pay I will receive to do that. I love that I can choose when and what jobs I want to do. I have worked for other companies who paid less and expect me to be set up and ready to go by start time ( not to much to ask but sometimes this requires I am there 30 minutes early with no pay for that time) Sunflower wants you to swipe sometime within the 10 minutes before start time, then start to set up. What job doesn't want you there before start time? I will be with the company a long time. They are getting more jobs in the North East which will help with my Pay.

I used to demo for Sunflower and always got paid and locations had been notified of my demo. Anyone having problems should have notified home office. They want the demo to go smoothly, that is how they keep their clients. They do not discriminate and sometimes that leads to giving employment opportunities to those who care little about doing the work.

I work with them right now and actually executed two events this week. My scheduler is actually wonderfully professional and responsive. In addition, she goes the extra mile to ensure that the event goes according to plan and I am also having a happy interaction in facilitating an event drama-free. My only issue it when someone, namely another IC, does not show up to work or have the decency to call out. I had that happen today, but due to my schedulers proactive approach and the help of the helpline, I was able to have a successful event (even though I was initially pissed at the no-show). My paperwork gets processed right away and I get my money without waiting 45 friggin' days like some companies I have done events for in the past. Sooo... maybe it is just your scheduler who comes up short.

Doing alot of research on this myself, and ran across this. I created a game that I expect to be huge, and found a developer and a celebrity endorser. Its taken several months for me to define the specs, but now that I have development has begun

The issue I had was the fear of starting off offering an ad-free version, and then learning that Im losing alot of revenue from advertising. But I think that each case is different. Your article above mentions the CPM model of ad cost, or cost per impressions (1000 ad views). The cost of 1000 ad views is generally between $1 and $1.50 now, so it takes alot of pop-up ads to make money. I hear AdMob sucks, and am personally looking into a storefront in Binkly, as well as going directly to potential sponsors. I think if you dont expect to have 100K or more users, then the pay for download model may be best. If you have an app that will get a high volume of users, the numbers will impress advertisers and make this option perhaps more profitable.
Again, I am only researching and gathering all the info I can.

Writing for the Examiner is one of the worst writing experiences I've ever had. Low pay, no returned emails, and no transparency with pay.
